GRACE KINDEKE
Grace Kindeke is an artist, an immigrant rights activist and racial justice advocate. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in New Hampshire she is currently the Director of Projects for the NH Center for Justice & Equity. Previously she has worked for the American Friends Service Committee NH Program and holds a Bachelor of Arts (magna cum laude) in Africana Studies and Sociology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She is honored to be the recipient of several awards including: the 2017 MIT Infinite Mile Award for Community Building, the 2022 NAACP Youth Excellence in Service award, the 2023 NH Martin Luther King Jr. award, NH Union Leader's 2024 Forty Under 40, the 2025 UMASS Boston Harriet Tubman award and was a Forward Fest 2025 honoree. In her spare time, she is an avid reader who enjoys long walks and musicals.
