Saniyah Bolton | Founder
Saniyah Bolton ( she/her ) is a young activist and student dedicated to pursuing law and advocating for the prosperity of all marginalized groups. While studying criminal justice at American University, she is the youth division's founder and a leadership team marketing coordinator for Black Lives Matter New Hampshire. By being an active student and ambassador on campus in addition to standing as a youth representative for other non-profit organizations like Portsmouth Black Heritage Trail and Bridge the Distict DC, she utilizes her passions to create positive change in her community. She aspires to promote action across issues involving racial justice, environmental protections, women’s rights, education, and more both on campus and in the Seacoast regions.
Zakiyah Hamilton-Evans | Program and Operations Coordinator
Hi! My name is Zakiya Hamilton-Evans, and I’m a co-director for the BLMNH Youth Division. I’m originally from New Hampshire but spent much of my life in the DMV area, so I consider both places home. I joined BLMNH in March 2025 with the intention of helping create spaces where young people can learn, connect, and engage in work rooted in justice and care. I have a deep interest in painting, music, and holistic health, and I value time spent with my friends and family. I’m passionate about showing up with intention and building community through curiosity, creativity, and shared growth.
Trini B. Youth Division Coordinator
I’m Trini B., The Youth Organizing and Outreach Coordinator with BLM NH, and my hope is to build a statewide network of BIPOC youth and young adult leaders in predominantly white New England. Coming from New York City, where seeing other Black and Brown faces normalcy, moving to New Hampshire was an awakening and tough—because the representation wasn't there. It was something I had to intentionally build. That shift is at the heart of why I do this work. Since joining BLM NH in 2026, I’ve focused on creating spaces where BIPOC youth/young adults —especially because we are often isolated—are seen, powerful and have spaces at the table, and to get connected. I coordinate the BLM NH Youth & Young Adult Division’s Youth Ambassador Program, our youth leadership retreats, and regular meetups, and everything under the sun for the division. I'm about continuously uplifting and centering youth/young adult voices, safety, and power.I support young people in turning their lived experience into strategy, action, and healing-centered leadership that shifts culture, shapes local policy, and builds community care— for a movement. I’ve spoken on panels, traveled across the U.S. to teach and organize and learn through cohorts, conferences, and mission trips, and walked alongside young people as they step into their own power in rooms they were never “supposed” to be in.As an alum and Youth Trailblazer Award winner with BLM NH’s Excellence Awards (circa 2024), this role is a full-circle moment. I now collaborate with an incredible team of organizers and mentors to make sure youth aren’t just “included,” but are actually shaping the strategy, culture, and future of our movement and mission.
