Camilla Thompson

Camilla Thompson serves as the Black Maternal Health Director at Black Lives Matter New Hampshire, where she leads initiatives focused on improving maternal health outcomes and expanding access to equitable, culturally responsive care for Black and Brown families across the state. A certified full-spectrum doula, Camilla provides birth, postpartum, and abortion support and is a fierce advocate for ensuring every birthing person feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their reproductive journey.

Her work is rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens when communities come together to address disparities, remove barriers to care, and create systems that truly center the needs of families. Through BLM NH's Maternal Health Division, Camilla oversees the organization's free Doula Program, helping train the next generation of doulas while connecting New Hampshire families with compassionate, no-cost birth support.

Driven by a vision of healthier families and stronger communities, Camilla is passionate about building partnerships, empowering families through education and advocacy, and advancing solutions that improve birth experiences and maternal health outcomes for generations to come.
