Angel Simone is a visionary leader with over 25 years of experience driving strategic initiatives and leading teams across both corporate and non-profit sectors in North America and Europe.

Angel is deeply committed to the work of creating inclusive and dynamic environments. Their passion lies in the intersection of culture and engagement, believing that a thriving workplace or community is fostered through strategies that prioritize the human experience.

As a certified DEI consultant, LGBTQ+ advocate and experienced facilitator, trainer and coach, Angel is an expert at cultivating spaces that foster a sense of inclusion & belonging. They excel at leading conversations about identity, belonging, and inclusive leadership.

Angel holds a Master’s degree in Engineering, and is a captivating speaker, and highly sought after presenter, with credits including a TEDx talk, multiple keynote addresses and podcast guest appearances. Originally from Liverpool, England, Angel now resides in Portsmouth, NHShe is especially committed to supporting young people and co-leads the SOAR Youth Workforce Development Conference, which brings together more than 100 youth from across the state to explore education, leadership, and career pathways. Shirley is also a strong advocate for behavioral health and works to help foster open, stigma-free conversations around mental health in our communities.

Beyond her professional work, Shirley is deeply engaged in service and leadership. She actively supports initiatives focused on youth development, environmental justice, civic engagement, and community wellness, and is known for showing up where her community needs her most.

A proud New Hampshire native and the daughter of Haitian and Jamaican immigrants, Shirley holds degrees from Barry University and Southern New Hampshire University. Above all, she’s a proud mom to a spirited three-year-old who inspires her daily commitment to community, justice, and collective growth.
